First 3 minutes of final film

First 3 minutes:

First the audience see a man wearing dark clothing in a dark room with one light; the camera then pans round to the man, although we never see the killers face.

Next is a shot of the killer hand turn over a card and this triggers flashbacks of his childhood and thinks about the nightmare that was his childhood, this gives the audience the impression he had a bad childhood and this is why he is mentally unstable now. We also learn that his parents died in a car crash when he was young and he got put in foster care and this lead to him being abused.

We then see the killer’s hand pick up a phone and dials a number, we then see a phone ringing using a close up shot we see its unknown. The policeman answers and says ‘’hello’’, the killer then says, ‘’I’m going to play a game and someone will get hurt’’.

The shot then reverts back to the killer where he has more cards out on the table and he turns another one over to which he says, ‘’She’ll die by being (whatever it says on the card).

The opening titles then roll.

The shot is then a woman walking into a house; the audience know she owns the house as she is unlocking the door, she walks in the kitchen to find the card the killer turned over earlier on her kitchen table, she picks it up and chucks it in the bin. She then puts the kettle on and goes upstairs.

The next shot is of the killer stood out the woman’s house and he walks up to the letterbox and looks into it. He then walks round the back of the house and waits for her and kills her by whatever is showed on the card.

The cop arrives and then looks through the letterbox to see woman laid unconscious at the bottom of the stairs.

End of final 3 minutes.
